Building Beyond the LMS: How 12th Wonder Customized Simpson Strong-Tie’s Training Platform

When an off-the-shelf LMS could no longer support specific training requirements, Simpson Strong-Tie partnered with 12th Wonder to build around its existing Pathlore platform. Six custom applications and integrations extended the LMS with automated certificate generation, custom registration, virtual training, workshop tracking, and event management. This case study explores how targeted engineering helped close critical capability gaps while preserving the platform already at the core of the training operation.
